About this event
This is CCCR's first Zone 8 Autocross. This Autocross will run Zone 8 class rules. We will hold registration to only PCA members until June 8, 2013. AT that time, the registration will be thrown open to all comers. In our brief autocross history, local non-PCA members immediately fill our events. We will accept only 54 entries. This normally means that all entrants get 7 runs. Runs tend to be in the 60 second plus range. For historical reference, Porsche A.G. created a 1.2 mile paved track at Santa Maria Airport for the International Media Introduction of the 2012 911 model, nee 991. When the Porsche introduction was finished they gave the track to the Airport Authority. We rent the facility from the Airport Authority
Registration for a Single Day event $50 PCA Members, $60 Non-PCA PCA member registration is open 5/1/2013; Non-PCA membership is open 6/8/2013.

Event requirements
PCA members & Family over 15 years (16-17 MUST have PCA waiver by the childs parent's at track entry)
Non-PCA members over 17 years (18 or older)
Standard or better safety belts, Snell 2005 or 2010 M or SA helmet. Recommend long sleeve cotton shirt, long cotton pants, thin rubber or leather soled shoes without lugs on the sole, cotton socks. Six shared use rental helmets will be available for $5/day. What this means is after the conclusion of your run group, you must return the helmet to the rental table for someone else to use for their run group. For your next run group you may re-select the helmet.
Check brakes, add tire pressure, check oil, etc. before arriving at facility. No air is available at the facility. Food wagon and Port-a-Potty’s will be on site.
Conforming to TSA regulations which control airport access, after you arrive, if you choose to leave, you will not be able to return so come prepared. All entrants are assigned to work in groups when they are not running. Depending on run sequence this may include working after your run group has completed for the day.
