VIR is a classic “driver’s course,” deceptive, challenging and well maintained. First opened in 1957, SVRA celebrates VIR’s glorious past by combining speed, thrills and heritage on the same track where our vintage cars raced. This popular weekend features large fields and great competition in all SVRA race groups. The track hugs the lush landscape’s natural contours. The 3.27-mile, 17-turn “Full Course” features high-speed straights and blind crests with dramatic elevation changes totaling 130 feet.
