About this event
Alone, the chance to race a wide variety of vintage cars at Watkins Glen International is fantastic. Adding the the opportunity of running your car in the downtown Grand Prix reenactment on the original 6.6-mile street circuit makes this event combination
hard to beat.
As one of the largest annual events at Watkins Glen and an SVRA favorite, this special vintage race weekend brings together hundreds of race cars representing well over 100 years of motorsport pursuits. The on track competition is second to none. Watkins Glen hosted the nations first post-war SCCA road race in 1948 before racing moved to the purpose-built 3.4-mile, 11-turn WGI circuit in 1956.
