If you missed the last SDR Driving Tour that drove to a hotel in Palm Springs for Saturday night and to then drove to Chuckwalla Raceway on Sunday morning giving participants the opportunity to drive their Porsche on the Chuckwalla track at reduced speeds during the event's lunchtime track tour THIS IS ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO as we are doing it again at the PCA-SDR Oct 16th & 17th Chuckwalla Drivers Education and Time Trial event.

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO PCA MEMBERS ONLY.

It is very important that you register for this event quickly as spaces are extremely limited due to the small number of rooms we have been able to reserve at the Palm Springs Hotel. If this sounds like something you would be keen to do, you will need to respond quickly by registering to attend.

The drive out to Palm Springs would start at noon on Saturday October 16th from the Southwest Corner of Westfield North County Fair (near BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse) and will involve a leisurely drive via back roads to Palm Springs. Attendees would then check in to the hotel and have some time to unwind before heading out to dinner in Palm Springs. The tour organizers are working to get restaurant reservations in Palm Springs for Saturday evening although nothing is confirmed at the time of writing.

Early Sunday morning participants would head out on the drive to Chuckwalla racetrack. Upon arrival at the track, each person entering Chuckwalla Track will be subject to a mandatory charge of a $10 track entry fee (this fee is independent of PCA-SDR) and there will then be a brief Tech Session by Völlig Autowerks discussing track event requirements and giving an insight into the working of SDR's DE/TT events. Food and beverages are available for purchase at the track.

There will also be an opportunity or participate in the event's lunchtime track tour where tour participants will be invited to take their Porsche out on the track (at reduced speeds) to lap the track led by SDR Instructors.
