If you like driving your Porsche on back country winding roads with other like-minded Porsche drivers ... then this is your first Driving Tour of 2022 ..... DO NOT miss it!
SDR offers all PCA Members another opportunity to join Porsche drivers who really enjoy driving on some of San Diego North County's greatest back roads.
Sunday 20th February
Pre-Registration is required (only the driver needs to register). If you are a PCA member and will be driving a Porsche, you're eligible to register for this tour .... however ... failure to pre-register will result in attendees not being permitted to join the tour and being asked to leave.
This tour will start from the South West corner of Westfield Mall near BJ's Restaurant - 204 E Via Rancho Pkwy, Escondido, CA 92025 and will explore back country roads in North and East San Diego County.
Tour Directions for the route will available on your mobile phone using Calimoto free software. This will enable participants to receive live verbal and visual route guidance on their phone. To enable this you will be required to download Calimoto FREE from the App store (available for BOTH iPhone and Android phones).
Please install the app and follow set-up instructions prior to the Tour date. A QR code to enable access to directions will be provided to registered participants at the start of the Tour.
Event schedule
08:00 Meet/greet - check in and sign the PCA paper waiver (Speedwaiver NOT required)
08:15 Mandatory Drivers meeting (If you miss the drivers meeting you will not be permitted to participate on the tour, so PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE!!)
08:30 … Tour Departs
If you have Motorola two-way Family Radios – bring them along set to channel 7.
Event requirements
If minors (persons under 18) will be attending the event, a Waiver for Minors must be signed by BOTH parents. If only one parent will be attending the event with the minor, please download the waiver PDF before the tour, print it using a color printer, and have BOTH parents sign the waiver, and please bring it to the event organizer at registration at the 8:00am pre-tour meeting location.
