Join your PCA friends and drive your Porsche on some of San Diego County's greatest winding back country roads. Our April Mini Driving Tour of 2024 - Don't Miss It! We will be traveling from North County Fair to Stone Brewery in San Marcos via Palomar.
WHEN: Sunday 21 April , 2024 - from 9 a.m. to about 12 p.m.
MEET: North County Fair Shopping Center in the BJs parking Lot. 204 E. Via Rancho Parkway, Escondido, CA 92055
WHO CAN ATTEND: Drivers must be PCA members and driving a Porsche. Guest passengers are welcome.
***We are ending at Stone Brewery, if you are under 21 or have a passenger under 21 please check with Stone Brewery if they can be admitted.***
REGISTRATION is required at MotorsportReg.com and closes at midnight 20 April. Unregistered drivers will be asked to leave. These tours are very popular and available spaces are limited. Don’t delay!
Printed Tour Directions for the route will be issued to each vehicle before leaving the starting area. Solo drivers without a passenger for navigational assistance will be able to follow their group leader to stay on the planned route.
Drivers of Porsche EV's: This tour route is approximately 96 miles, starting at NC Fair and ending at Stone Brewery.
Event schedule:
09:00 Meet/greet - check in and sign the PCA paper waiver.
09:15 Mandatory Drivers meeting (Anyone missing the drivers meeting will not be permitted to participate) DO NOT BE LATE!!
09:30 Tour Departs. There will be a rest stop about an hour after the start.
If you have Motorola two-way Family Radios – bring them along set to channel 7.

Participant Requirements and Expectations
Age Restriction
PCA requires that all drivers must be at least 18 years old.
Licensing
All drivers must have a valid state or provincial driver's license.
Event Waivers and Insurance
All persons who will be participating on a Driving Tour, including all passengers, must sign a PCA event waiver.
Emphasis on Safety
- Drivers will be expected to obey all traffic laws.
- Posted speed limits and traffic control provisions will be observed during the drive.
- Car Separation: Drivers should avoid lagging far behind the car in front of them, to ensure group integrity. But under no circumstances should drivers take unsafe or unnecessary measures to do so. In particular, speeding through a yellow or red traffic signal in order to keep up with the group is not acceptable.
Driver Conduct
Failure to follow procedures detailed above, unsafe driving, blatant disregard of traffic laws, passing unsafely, and putting others in danger are reasons to exclude a participant from a tour. Such behaviors should be reported to the driving group leader and/or the Driving Tour Chair. The Tour Chair is authorized to exclude a participant from the tour. Should the PCA-SDR Board of Directors deem that a member’s behavior violates PCA or San Diego Region rules and requirements for participation in events, the Board of Directors may impose sanctions, including but not limited to restricting the member’s participation in future events.

Participation by Minors
A Waiver for Minors signed by both parents is required for anyone under age 18 attending the event. If only one parent will be attending the event, please:
- Download the waiver PDF before the tour,
- Print it using a color printer
- Have both parents sign the waiver
- Bring it to the event organizer before the tour starts
