About this event
The Fun Run event starts at 9 o’clock in Pacifica. We’ll coffee-up, sign insurance waiver, get radios distributed, break into 2 or possibly 3 run groups, assign leaders and sweeps, and distribute pre-paid Box Lunches. We'll also pass-out GGR name badges to those members who have'nt yet received them.
After all this we'll have a lift-off, heading south on Highway One, where we'll quickly undertake a Sound Check in the new tunnel under Devil’s Slide [open your windows to hear them roar!]. We’ll head south past Half Moon Bay to Pescadero for a short break.Then it's a spirited climb up and over the top of the Santa Cruz mountains and down to Woodside for a picnic lunch at the Rodeo Grounds. Stay tuned for final logistical information, after you've regtistered.
Please indicate your choice of sandwich for the box lunch on registration page, and provide credit card info for payment.
As at previous events, we will divide into appropriate groups, depending on drivers' desired pace. Because this Fun Run is not a leisurely "destination tour," you'll need to give some thought to your diving style. This is an energetic drive and we want members to be comfortable and above all, safe.
Note: Event open to Porsche Club of America members, from any region.
