October 2022 Fall Fest and New Members event

Hello Pocono Region Members:

We are pleased to announce that the Elk Mountain Ski Resort Fall Fest Drive and New Member Social event will be held on Sunday October 9, 2022.  This is a rain or shine event.

The Drive will start at McDade Park (1 Bald Mountain Rd, Scranton, PA 18507), have a brunch stop at the Bingham’s Family Restaurant (6092 PA-92, Kingsley, PA 18826), and end at the Elk Mountain Ski Resort Fall Fest (344 Elk Mountain Rd, Union Dale, PA 18470).

Participants should plan to be at McDade Park no later than 9:15 am on Sunday October 9, 2022 (parking lot on the left after the Visitor Center and basketball courts that are on the right, look for the Yellow Boxster).  We will have a Driver’s meeting at 9:30 am and leave the park at 9:45 am.

We will stop for brunch at the Bingham’s Family Restaurant around 11:00 am.  New members will receive up to $25 towards the cost of their meal (joined since November 2021).  After brunch we will depart for the Elk Mountain Ski Resort Fall Fest (about 20 minutes).    There will be Arts and Crafts to admire and purchase, Chair Lift rides ($5) to enjoy, festive food and drink, live musical entertainment, and Hay Rides.  Please review the Brunch Menu and Fall Fest Brochure for more information.

We are asking people to sign up for this event on MotorsportReg.com ( https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/october-2022-fall-fest-new-members-event-elk-mountain-ski-resort-pca-pocono-983409 ) by October 7th so that we can let the restaurant know how many places to set.

Please print and complete the appropriate PCA Liability waiver(s) available below.  This will simplify the Drivers Meeting at the park.
