NW Arkansas Drive

North West Arkansas Tour over Labor Day:

This event takes place over the Labor Day Weekend.  Plan to drive to Eureka Springs on Friday, then participate on drives on Saturday and Sunday with most if not all of of us will be returning to Iowa on Labor Day. .

Drives:  These are terrific roads, you will have a lot of fun here. I have a good friend that lives in Beaver Lake, Arkansas that has created the two days drives with some of the best driving and scenic roads in the area.

Lodging:  Rooms are available in Eureka Springs - see below

Dining:  We are selecting restaurants for Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings if you chose to dine with the group.

 

What you will need to do if you want to participate on this drive: 

1.  Book your entry on Motorsports.Reg.   Add your name and number of participants, there is no cost for this drive

2.  Book your room, being Labor Day weekend the preferred rooms will be booked soon.  I have found some reasonable priced rooms close to downtown, this is where we will be starting our drives.

9/1 Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse – confirmed 6:30pm (they close at 8 - not that they would kick us out, just when they do not seat anymore, but this gives a  better window)

For those who do not want to participate in both Saturday and Sunday drives, Eureka Springs is a quaint small city that is fun to just walk around, the downtown area is full of shopping with many nice restaurants available.  Turpentine big cat sanctuary is just outside Eureka Springs and is well worth your time to visit.
