Join us on Saturday November 8th, for a FUN RUN from the Silver Diner in Glen Allen, VA to Lowery's Seafood Restaurant in Tappahannock.
We will meet at the Silver Diner at 9:00 AM (10890 West Broad Street, Glen Allen (804) 346-2020) for the usual monthly Richmond Breakfast on the second Saturday of the month. After the breakfast, we will have a briefing and driver's meeting before heading out for an approx. 2 hour scenic drive on some twisty roads in Hanover, King and Queen, and Essex Counties. David Wallace already has the route planned and in addition to some twisty roads, there very well may be some Fall Foliage to take in.
If you have never attended a breakfast at the Silver Diner, here is your chance to meet fellow FSR members from Richmond and see what they are driving. If you are coming from the Southside, and 9:00 AM is a bit early for you, please meet at the Silver Diner at 10:30 AM to kick tires and meet everyone for the driver's meeting, before heading out on the Fun Run.
The fun run will end at Lowery's Seafood Restaurant, 528 North Church Lane, Tappahannock, VA (804) 443-2800 where we will have some lunch before everyone heading their separate ways.
Breakfast at the Silver Diner and lunch at Lowery's will be pay as you go.
Lowery's is so old school that they don't even have a website (at least one that I could find).
