We are pleased to announce the second of our General Membership Meetings for 2016. The April meeting is all about safety - in particular fire safety. We have fire extinguishers at all of our events including every worker station at an autocross, but how many of you have actually used one? What is the safe and most effective way to deal with a car fire on course on in grid?
The safety of our event competitors, workers, and visitors is an extremely important concern. Philadelphia Region sCCA is hosting a fire safety training class Wednesday, April 27th at 7PM. The class will be held at Montgomery County Fire Academy located at 1175 Conshohocken Rd, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Please arrive by 7pm as the program instructor will start on time. Sandwiches and drinks will be provided.
This training is open to all Philadelphia Region members with an interest in learning fire safety techniques. Space is limited to 40 entries. We will open registration to people who are not SCCA members if it has not filled up by the Sunday prior. We expect that everyone will have the opportunity to operate an extinguisher as part of this training program.
