ETR Mock Pro Solo
Limited to 66 Drivers
Pre-Payment is required.
This is a test for doing a pro solo in one day at Bristol. There will be two similar courses, side-by-side, that run simaltaneously. Each course begins with a drag race start. Your best time on each course will be combined to see who gets into a bracket style shootout. With all that said, this is a test of new timing equipment and a new style of a Saturday event. So, please be patient as we iron out the kinks for future events. At the very least, you will get a lot of runs on two different course.
Here is SCCA's descrption (obviously there are some differences with what we're planning):
"The Tire Rack SCCA® ProSolo® Series is an adrenaline-pumping autocross format where solo isn’t solo. Drivers still run a course by themselves, but start off side-by-side drag racing style and attack mirror-image courses to see who gets back to their respective finish lines first.
In contrast to a standard 3-run autocross, ProSolo class competition takes 1.5 days where each driver gets three sets of runs to put together the best run from each side. Class winners are determined from putting the best right and left side runs together.
After class competition, it’s time for challenge rounds. The first is a bragging-rights Bonus Challenge drawn at random, a Ladies Challenge for the top-performing ladies class drivers, and the big one – the Super Challenge, which pits the top 32 drivers from regular competition into challenge bracket competition at its finest!."

We strongly encourage you to be on-site no later than 7:30AM, especially if you are a novice.

Sound Policy
The sound policy will be in effect with a revised limit of 101.5 db due to the relatively remote location of the event . You can find the long version of the sound policy at the bottom of this page but no one wants "ear-bleeding loud" cars or events.
If you get a DNF on consecutive runs. You will be required to have a qualified ETR driver ride-along on your next run.

Site Restrictions
Absolutely no donuts, burnouts, or other hoonage on or around the event site.
We value our event sites and inappropriate behavior cannot be tolerated. Please drive respectfully as you travel to and from the event.
Technical Inspection
Before any car can run, it must be inspected to make sure it is safe and in compliance. The basics of the inspection include:
- Battery securely bolted down. (This is the most common problem)
- If your battery is not in the stock location and is a wet cell battery it must be in a enclosed battery box such as one for a marine battery.
- Tires – no cord showing
- Wheel bearings, shocks, steering, and suspension in good operating condition.
- Seat belts in good operating condition.
- Brakes – firm pedal with no detectable drop with car not running and proper level of fluid in reservoir.
- All loose items removed (radar detectors, floor mats, etc.)
- Hubcaps and wheel rings removed unless they bolt on.
- All lugs present and tight.
- Throttle return action safe and positive (no sticky throttles)
- No excessive fluid leaks
Annual Tech Stickers will be available at a cost of $1.00. We require permanent classing letters and numbers for eligibility to the annual tech program.
Acceptable numbers and class designation must be on both sides of car.
You are responsible for this. Buy magnets, bring painters tape, masking tape, or frog tape (in a contrasting color from your car), or print your numbers and letters at home and tape them to the car. Whatever your solution, it should be legible from 100 feet away while in motion.
Novices must include "N" in your class letters on your car. The "N" should be first. Example: NAS, NSTS, NXP

Waviers
Any competitor or passenger must sign the SCCA wavier, available on site.
Special Wavier for competitors, passengers, or participants that are under 18
All minors under 18 years old require a minor waiver to compete or spectate. For competitors the waiver must be signed by both parents, or by a verified single parent/guardian (requires evidence of status). This waiver is good for all events for a full calendar year from the date of its signing as long as the minor retains the pink waiver copy. For a minor spectator, one parent or guardian can sign a waiver good for a single event. Althought ETR has minor waviers at the event, it is best to be prepared ahead of event day – get the minor competitor’s waiver completed with all the parent/guardian signatures required.

Print the form (IN COLOR), get it signed by both parents or legal guardians, and present it at the registration table at the event.

Helmets
Loaner helmet availability will be limited due to Covid. Drivers are highly encouraged to bring their own helmet to ensure that they are able to participate. If you bring your own, it must meet SCCA guidelines.. Learn more about helmet requirements here.
