Hello charitably minded people of the Pocono and Riesentoter Regions – please join your fellow PCAers for a Charity Fundraiser Event on Saturday May 6th at Pocono Raceway:
A charity event fundraiser is going to occur on Saturday May 6, 2023. This is a memorial event for Ryan Martin, a PCA member of Riesentoter Region who passed away due to complications from a heart condition in late 2022 at age 43. Ryan was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Juliana Martin. Lisa and Joseph Wahl of the Pocono Region were his aunt and uncle. The proceeds of this event will benefit the American Heart Association.
We will be enjoying 3 or 4 Paced laps of one of Pocono International Raceway’s infield road courses, depending on timing of the event. These laps will be led by a pace car to show the way.
The minimum donation will be $25 for the paced laps with the proceeds benefitting the American Heart Association. Please feel free to donate more than the minimum if you are so inclined.

Please be at the track by 11:15 am so that there will be time to sign the Pocono Raceway waiver when entering the track at Gate 1 on Long Pond Road. We will then meet at the playground on the right after you have passed through the tunnel and gone up the hill. This is where we will sign the Riesentoter PCA waivers. When the track is ready for us (around noon), we will drive through the pits to the track and enjoy our laps.
In addition to driving on the track, we are working on a ~1.25-hour drive in the Poconos that would end at Ice Cream. Details will follow.

Please make a minimum donation for this charity event of at least $25. This will benefit the American Heart Association to continue fighting heart issues.
