Castles and Porsches Tour

June 27, 2020

Finally, it's time to get back together with our Porsche friends to tour our beautiful Colorado vistas! We'll combine our first 2020 tour with a charity event by making donations to the Care and Share Food Bank. Please be generous with your cash, or check donations to help our less-fortunate neighbors through these trying times.

Join us on Saturday, June 27th for a morning drive to Bishop Castle. We will depart at 9:00 AM from the Cinemark Tinseltown parking lot at 1545 E. Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. in Colorado Springs. Plan to arrive by 8:15 AM for check-in and a mandatory driver’s meeting.

We'll start our tour on Highway 115, heading south toward Fairview and Bishop Castle. After exploring the castle, we'll head to Westcliffe, then north to Hwy 50 and Texas Creek and finally east to Canon City, where the tour will end at Veteran's Park. We are not planning an organized post-tour social; however, Canon City has many restaurants you may wish to visit on your own or you could bring a sack lunch to enjoy in the park or elsewhere.

Registration fee is $10 per car.

IMPORTANT:  In compliance with State of Colorado guidelines and in order to ensure our members' safety, we must maintain social distancing. Additionally, it is a requirement that all tour participants wear a face-mask while outside their vehicles. PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE TOUR WITH A MASK FOR EACH PARTICIPANT. Extra hand sanitizer, disposable gloves, trash baskets, disposable face masks and cleaners/disinfectants will be available at the start of the tour, but please bring your own. Participants and volunteers should stay at home if they are at higher risk for severe illness, or if they are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, must stay home.
