2025 Event #7 (and Suicide Awareness Charity)

Jerry Sutton Training Center

About this event

Join us for the first day of our two day event! This event is meant to bring awareness to suicide prevention and raise money for suicide awareness and prevention charities. If you want to be part of the charity component, sign up under the PAX Piggy class (C for Charity). You will then be able to donate money to add cones to competitor's times, take cones off of your times, or anything else you can think of! Hijinks are strongly encouraged.

We will also have charity fun runs after the completion of the competitive runs.

Come out and join us for this event, be part of the fun, and support a worthy cause!

If you are competing for season trophy points, you can still register in the pax piggy class. Let us know at the event, and we can count your first 4 runs toward season points.

Event Day Important Information:

Everyone should plan to paddock your car up on the hill (see layout below). When you pull in, make a right, drive up the hill, and park on either side of the road. The bottom parking area is reserved for people with trailers or those setting up the event.

It can be difficult to hear the announcements up on the hill, so make sure you get to the driver’s meetings on time, as well as the novice walkthrough. The driver’s meeting will begin promptly at 10:00am (novice walkthrough at 9:30am). Everyone must be at the driver’s meetings or you will not be allowed to participate in the event.

Depending on the number of participants, we will divide the everyone into two ot three run groups. If it is 2 run groups, we will take a 45 min break between run groups. If time allows, we will do un-timed fun runs after the conclusion of the event.

For anyone new to the sport of autocross, we ask that you take a detailed look at our Novice Guide. If you need help or someone to ride along with you at the event, please find an officer or a novice chief to help you.

Event requirements

Insurance Liability Waiver:

Everyone, including any passengers or spectators, must sign the insurance waiver. Basically, this applies to anyone on the property for the duration of the event. No exceptions.

Minimum Age Requirements:

Drivers must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid, full driver's license (provisional licenses are not acceptable). Kart drivers must be at least 5 years old. Any driver under the age of 18 must also have a minor waiver on file with HSCC management. This waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian in the presence of an HSCC officer. Passengers are permitted in the front seat only and they must meet the same requirements as drivers.

Proper car numbers are MANDATORY

For our events to run smoothly it is essential that we be able to properly identify all vehicles at a glance. If you do not yet have magnetic numbers, we have painters tape for you to borrow.
