Join the Olympic Peninsula Region while they host a tour of some of the best things the region has to offer!
This two day event begins Saturday July 28th at the Back Ball (Coho) ferry terminal in downtown Victoria and ends at the Olympic Lodge in Port Angeles. Once arriving in Port Angeles, the OPR will meet us for lunch. Then depart between 1:30P-2P for a scenic drive to Neah Bay and return via Hwy 112. Dinner is being planned at a local area restaurant.
Recommend booking ferry and hotel ASAP. All Hotel reservations must be made directly with the hotels and prices tend to go up as they fill up. Hotel options for those staying overnight are:-
- The Olympic Lodge, located at 140 S. Del Guzzi Drive, phone: (800) 600-2993 has rates of $229.99-$299.99 US +tax.
- The Red Lion Hotel, located at 221 North Lincoln Street, phone: (800) 733-5466 has rates of $250-$300 US +tax.
- Days Inn, located at 1510 E Front St, phone: (800) 225-3297 has rates of $148-$189+tax (cheapest rate for Wyndham Rewards members – signup when you book, offers AARP and AAA discounts).
Sunday morning drive to Hurricane Ridge at 7A to avoid tourist traffic, then back to hotel for breakfast and checkout. From there we’ll end the event and you can either catch the 12:45 ferry back to the island or stay awhile longer. The Coho runs again at 5:20 and 9:30 PM on Sunday.
Registration is required to attend. Our hosts recommend booking your accommodations soon as rooms do tend to book up. Please make those arrangements yourself.
Also, be sure to make sure you have the necessary travel documents and insurance as we’re crossing into the United States.

Due to the size of our group, there is no one facility that can take all of us together. So please make your own Saturday night dinner reservations with the Alderwood Bistro located at 139 W. Alder Street, Sequim, WA 98382 Sequim in groups of 2, 4, 6, or 8. Restaurant can handle up to 26 people and we are at 22 people attending this event, so please book ASAP. Then at least we can all eat at the same location, if not together.
