Registration will open on 07/30. Openings will be filled as they are received, by registration date.

Please read the following notes and requirements prior to registering:

  • BMW CCA membership is required; associate members are welcome.  You may attend as a guest of a current member as long as the member pays for your entry.  BMW CCA membership is available as part of registration.
  • Cost for the school is $349. This is a two-day school; however, we have a limited number of one-day registrations - contact the Registrar for more information.  All credit cards will be processed immediately.
  • Pre-Approved advanced students can participate in an extra day to improve their skills.  Cost for this entry is $449 for three days and includes a full day of track time on Friday in addition to sessions both Saturday and Sunday.  Add ANOTHER full day - Thursday - for $50.
  • Instructor entry fee is $49 for three days, $99 for four days and $0 for Sat/Sun - thank you for helping us with this event!
  • Event Shirts - we've rolled back the price on our shirts to celebrate 10 years at Hallett!  Shirts are available for $10 each.
  • All drivers must be at least 18 years of age and possess a full, valid, non-suspended, and current state driver’s license. No previous experience necessary. We will have Novice, Upper/Lower Intermediate, and Advanced run groups. Run groups are scheduled to receive multiple track sessions per day.
  • All makes and models of cars are welcome, provided they pass a pre-event safety inspection and a trackside safety check. (Convertibles must have full roll bars, at least two five-point harnesses and must be approved in advance on a case-by-case basis.)
  • You must bring a Snell Foundation-rated M2010 or SA2010 (or newer) helmet. NOTE - 2005 helmets are no longer allowed; it's time to replace them!  Students who do not have an approved helmet, or whose cars do not pass a track side safety check will not be allowed on the track and no refunds will be made. Loaner helmets are not available.
  • Registrants will receive classroom instruction, and on-track instruction.
  • You can pay with a credit/debit card, or electronic check.  You must download the detailed information packet that includes track information, lodging options, event manual, and technical inspection forms. Novices must also download the high-performance driving manual. The download is available at docs.noexcusesdrivingschool.com. If you have trouble downloading a document, e-mail webmaster@kcbmwclub.com for assistance.
  • Refund Cancellation Policy:
    • The organizing clubs incur significant cost and risk when scheduling events.  The club will be faced with many expenses even if participants cancel.

    • As a result, we have instituted the following policy.

Prior and up to 09/11/17, no penalty for cancellations.

Starting on 09/12/17 until 10/01/17, a 20% fee (rounded to nearest whole dollar) applies to all cancellations.

After 10/01/17, no refunds will be allowed - only a credit toward a future event will be allowed.

      Thank you.

  • Each driver must register separately even if sharing a car. No more than two drivers per car. Shared cars may be required to run back-to-back track sessions.
  • All participants and guests are required to sign an insurance company form waiving their rights to sue. A copy of the waiver is in the information packet. If you would like to read a copy prior to submitting this application, you may request one by contacting the Driving School Registrar.
  • If you have any medical condition that requires consideration under the Americans With Disabilities Act, please indicate that on the registration form.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions. We want to make sure this is a great experience for you.

BMW CCA driving schools are designed to teach drivers how to safely improve their driving abilities and explore their cars’ capabilities. Students, using their own cars, get one-on-one instruction from experienced instructors. Our overriding emphasis is on safety, and safely learning how to control the car in emergency and higher performance conditions. The school is conducted on a paved, closed, and controlled course to minimize risk to persons and equipment. This is not a racing school, practice or preparation for racing, and it is not a timed, competitive event or speed contest. Even though we try to minimize risk, there is an inherent risk of damage to your car and injury to yourself. Please be certain that you are willing to accept this risk before registering for the school.
