About this event
Hey track rats! Join us on October 10th & 11th for the last two track days of the season as we host our Second Annual Drive for Camp Goodtimes!
Come out to exercise your car, go for a ride in one of five NASCAR ground pounders, bid on super cool auction items like Sea Hawk tickets and a one day Lamborghini rental and hang out with some of the most amazing kids you'll ever meet.
ON DAY TWO ONLY, receive coaching from Bimmerworld.com team driver, Dan Rogers. Dan has been racing for years and has competed in the Grand-Am Continental Tire ST, 24 Hour Rolex, Brickyard Sports Car Challenge, Portland Enduro, ICSCC ST, Ford Racing Mustang Challenge, 25 hours of Thunderhill, Cascade Enduro and IRDC Spring Enduro. He's been on many podiums and he's getting paid to race! He's a true pro and it is a unique opportunity to have him as a coach. We will do our best to give as many of you the opportunity to learn from Dan but the number of coaching sessions is limited. Given that our goal is to raise as much money as possible for The Goodtimes Project, coaching sessions will be awarded based on the size of your donation. We'll start with the largest donation and work down from there. To reserve your coaching sessions in advance, please email santo@thegoodtimesproject.org.
Auction items include... Sea Hawk, Sounder and Mariner tickets and jerseys, a season's pass for two to all public events at Pacific Raceways including the NHRA Nationals, a one day rental of a Lamborghini Gallardo, condo vacation rentals in Mazatlan, Hawaii and Whistler, a remote coaching session from Speed Secrets author and former Indy Car driver Ross Bentley, tools from Cantrell Motorsports, Turbo Blue high octane fuel from Masco Petroleum, a black M pedal car and M watch from BMW Seattle, gift certificates from Group2 Motorsports, Les Schwab Tires in Ballard and Pacific GP Motorsports Park, tickets to Evergreen Speedway, a one night stay at Alderbrook Resort, motorsport DVDs, wine and much more. Don't worry if you can't make it to the track. As long as you have a mobile phone, you'll be able to bid on any of the auction items from anywhere in the country!
Of course we will also appreciate any cash donations. In fact, we have gift certificates from Bimmerworld.com, 425 Motorsports and Metropolitan Detail and Bimmerworld.com t-shirts to give to the people who make the first $100 donations. Check the Turn2 website and the event website for your opportunity to make a difference and get a gift certificate or t-shirt.
