We are bringing back the annual THSCC potluck picnic, and would love for you to attend!
The picnic will be held at the Duke Forest Pavilion F on Saturday, September 23, 12pm-4pm. The location was chosen because of the price and ability to drink (if you know of any locations that are centrally-located, alcohol-friendly, and reasonably priced, please suggest them for next year). The site offers a pavilion, picnic tables, an outhouse, a grill, a fire pit, and a volleyball net.
We will have a THSCC banner posted outside the entrance gate. There is parking at the pavilion, accessible via a ~1/4 mile long gravel road. Alternatively, you could park along 751 and walk up to the pavilion.
What to bring:
- Food item to share (hot dogs and s'mores will be provided)
- Anything you'd like to drink (water, soda, and PBR will be provided)
- A champ chair (if you have it)
- Pop-up canopy tent (if you have one)
- Outdoor games (e.g., cornhole, frisbee, volleyball, soccer ball, etc.)
