This tour is now cancelled due to the extension of the US/Canada non-essential travel ban until at least July 21st and a likely 14 day quanartine after that date should the border open.
Join us for a multi-region tour to Sun Peaks, BC to meet up with Canada West Region at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel and Conference Center in British Columbia! Consider this tour as the replacement for the previously annual Whistler Weekend, which is no longer being held after nearly 30 years. Canada West has been coming here for years and now PNWR is going to join them for a fun filled weekend of tours, games and possibly some friendly competition. We are working out the details for a combined evening banquet so watch for details when registration opens, tentatively planned for May 4th.
The drive up to Sun Peaks starts at the McDonald's Restaurant near Tulalip Casino at 10510 Quil Ceda Blvd, Marysville, WA 98271. Show time 8:00 - 8:30; driver's meeting at 8:30; first group out at 9:00. Allow enough time to get to the starting point due to I-5 traffic!
The Grand Hotel has set aside 10 rooms for us, with the capability to expand that number if response is good. These 10 rooms will be comprised of 7 Deluxe Courtyard View King Rooms and 3 Deluxe Courtyard View Queen/Queen Rooms at the special rate of $155.00 CAD (or $110.54 USD) at the current exchange rate.
For the individuals wishing to reserve into the guest room block and take advantage of the special rate and parking must do so by Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Once email requests have been received, Kasey will then contact the guests by phone to obtain credit card details to guarantee their reservations. Confirmation numbers will be forwarded by email to each guest after the contract has been signed.
Event requirements
Tour Requirements:
- Cancellations and refunds: Cancelations accepted until July 17th for the driving portion of the tour. However, hotel reservations need to be made by June 14th to receive the reduced rate.
- Car club membership: To participate you must be a member of the PCA and PNWR membership is highly encouraged. Porsche owners who are not members may register with the tour chair and receive a special invitation on a case-by-case basis.
- Non-Porsches on the Tour: Non-Porsches are only allowed on a case-by-case basis under extenuating circumstances (car in the shop, awaiting delivery of a Porsche, etc)

For Adult participants and attendees: All drivers and passengers must sign the Waiver Release Form, which will be provided at the tour starting point. There is no need to download, print and sign the form in advance.

Passports: Yes a current passport or enhanced Washington Driver's License is required for this tour in order to enter and leave Canada! Don't forget it!!
- Age and driver's license restrictions: All drivers must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a valid US driver's license at the time of the Tour. A driving permit is not acceptable. For participants under 18 years old, at least one parent or legal guardian must sign an additional "Minors as Observers Only" waiver in the presence of the tour person collecting signatures, who will witness the signature.
- Registering for Passengers: Please make sure to include the names of any passengers riding with you in the space provided during registration. If you have two cars on the tour, each car and driver should register with a separate Motorsportreg account.
