EVENT RESCHEDULED FOR November 2nd, 2019 !!!

Join your fellow Porsche enthusiasts for a casual country drive followed by lunch at an Amish family’s home outside Bowling Green.

We will meet at 9:00 am in the Dierberg’s parking lot at 217 Salt Lick Road in St. Peters with departure for the town of Hawk Point, MO at 9:30. The Dierberg’s is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Interstate 70 and Salt Lick Road / Hwy 79 in St. Peters. We will have a short “pit stop” in Hawk Point, MO and then will proceed to the home of Jacob and Barbara Yoder (10346 Hwy Y, Bowling Green, MO), where they will serve us an Amish, family style meal. Bring an appetite, because this is a full course, all-you-can-eat “country” meal served with your choice of two meats, drinks and dessert. Cost is $12.50 per person, all inclusive. Since the Amish cook on wood stoves, it is imperative that we have an accurate head count to give the family. RSVP by Wednesday October 30th to be added to the list of those attending. You MUST make a reservation to attend this event. Additionally, the Amish do not take credit cards, so payment must be made in CASH. To make things simple, I will collect the “lunch money” before we leave St. Peters and give it to the family when we arrive. Following lunch, you will be on your own to explore the area around Bowling Green. I will have maps of Amish stores available to those who are interested, but be aware, most Amish homes and businesses are on gravel roads, some of which are not well maintained. Return to St. Louis via Hwy 61 is at your discretion. This is a tour you won’t want to miss!
