About this event
The Subaru Showdown Auto-X will be a national style event that is open to all makes of cars.
REGISTRATION AFTER THURSDAY CAN BE DONE AT THE EVENT PRIOR TO THE 9 AM DRIVERS MEETING.
- Open to ALL cars.
- NO Membership required.
- Standard solo classes.
- There will be two courses. One on the CMP East track and one on the CMP West track. Each class will receive a minimum of 3 runs on each course with the best time from each course being totaled for the participant's time for the event.
- The course design will utilize the configuration of the track and will be an open design.
- Participants DO NOT work. That is correct ... no worries about having to shag cones ... plenty of time to socialize and watch others!
- There are NO Novice classes, but NOVICES ARE WELCOME! Just register with your base class. We will have instructors available for anyone who would like, for whether it's your first time or you would like coaching for the East course (faster of the two)
- Lunch is available at the track and the snack bar will be open from 7am to 2pm.
- Timing will be provided by RJ timing.
- This event is being hosted by Subaru, Folger Subaru and Carolina Motorsports Park.
- The driver's meeting will be at 9, first car off is at 10, registration opens at 7 and tech starts at 7:30.
- On-site camping will be available both Friday and Saturday night
