Speedy Goat Time Trials #4

Mission Raceway

About this event

Join us on Friday Aug 7th, 2026
Time Trials track day at Mission Raceway Park

Gates open at 7:00am with on-track activities from 9:00am - 4:00pm.

Doing sportscar things with sportscar friends

Time Trials events are open to both new and experienced drivers looking to join a community, improve their driving, learn safe track etiquette, and have a fun day.
Compared to a Lapping or HPDE event, Time Trials limits each track session to 3 full hot-laps and offers an increased number of sessions per day. This format reduces the peak temperatures your car sees, reduces overall costs, and lets you drive with cars at a similar pace.

New/ Novice Driver
This is your first Track Event
New/ Novice drivers drive together in a dedicated NON-TIMED run group. The focus is on instruction and learning the track.
Coaching will be provided to to the novice group in either a lead-follow format or in-vehicle instruction.
Drivers are welcome to sign up in the Novice group on their second, third or more event(s) should they not yet feel comfortable in a timed group. We do not push any driver outside their comfort limit

Regular Driver
You have driven at Mission Raceway before and will be in one of the timed groups.
You do not need to drive your all-out fastest, but we will group drivers by their average lap time, regardless of your car, mods, or driver experience.
You will be grouped with someone doing similar lap times to you, which makes for a fun/ social driving experience.

Entry Fee

  • 215 - Super-EarlyBird Entry
  • 240 - EarlyBird Entry
  • 260 - Entry
  • **100 - Test and Tune lunch

A timing transponder is required for timed run groups. If you do not have one, a transponder is offered to drivers at our cost of $30
All drivers must register seperately. If you'd like to share a car (Dual drive), you MUST email us before registering the second driver.
There are challenges with sharing a car at a Time Trials event. While it has been done before, we strongly recommend sticking to one driver in one car.

*No refunds within one month of the event date. All refunds are subject to a mandatory 20% cancellation fee

** SCCBC Race weekend is happening the Saturday & Sunday after our event. If you would like to participate in the 30 minute lunch hour test and tune session, register here. We will alternate between Closed Wheel and Open wheel in 15 minute sessions. OW & CW will each receive 15 minutes of open lapping test and tune to help shake their car down.

Additional Notes:
1) A valid BC, Alberta, or Washington drivers license is required. No additional licenses are required.
2) Vehicle numbers are required for timed groups (optional for new/ novice drivers)
3) All registrations must be accompanied by electronic payment.
4) Your entry fee does not include lunch.
5) Registrants will be responsible for their own track clean-ups, vehicle tow fees, track or transponder damage, or any associated fees billed to SGMC.
6) Feel free to ask any questions you may have by emailing the event registrar.

Timed runs: Out-lap, 3 timed laps, cool-down lap (3-4 timed sessions)
Drivers will be released from the grid starting from the fastest to slowest lap time. If you surpass another vehicles lap time, please grid ahead of them during the next session. Organizers will actively help you grid based on previous lap times. Please help the grid marshalls by parking behind faster vehicles.

Vehicle  Numbers:
We know a few drivers would like to secure their vehicle number for all events. For this reason we would like to give you the option of reserving a number for the 2026 year! Those who purchase a number will have that number for all events in 2026 (if someone has a number in the event and you pay to reserve it after the fact, you will now be given that number and the other driver will be asked to select a new one).

To reserve your number, or purchase vehicle decals visit the below page after you register:
