Time for the September First Friday Niter! This month’s rallymaster is Larry Scholnick. The rally runs through the Santa Monica mountains to Malibu and then finishes at Topper’s Pizza Place, 1416 N Moorpark Rd, Thousand Oaks. Larry says there will be traps, but not on every leg. He is using some of his favorite twisty, windy roads that we haven’t used in several years. And there is even a pleasant drive along PCH (to perhaps help settle your stomach after the curvy roads).
We are again using the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring, with timing to the tenth of a second. There is a restart after each checkpoint, and all checkpoints are listed in the route instructions.

We start at the Bank of America rear lot, 10300 Sepulveda Blvd (Sepulveda and Devonshire) in Mission Hills. In-person registration opens at 7:00 pm, with the first car out at 8:01 pm; there is a beginner/Richta meeting at 7:40 pm.
