Rolling Thunder Advanced Solo DE
Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11, 2016
NOTE: The DE event is in conjunction with the National Club Race being held the same weekend. Only experienced advanced DE drivers with solo status are allowed to participate. There will be no instructors available for this weekend. To qualify for the 2016 Rolling Thunder Solo DE you need to have been signed off with Solo status through your PCA region's DE program.

Registration is on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 7:00AM in the Classroom
Registration will also be available on Friday afternoon at 3:00PM in the Classroom

Event Registration fees: Two days - $285.00 (no co-driver discount)
Saturday only - $205.00 4 sessions (no co-driver discount)
Sunday only - $180.00 4 sessions (no co-driver discount )
Saturday night dinner tickets are $15.00 in advance. Dinner tickets at the track will be $20.00

On both Saturday and Sunday we will offer noon time parade laps for a $20 donation. You can take your personal car on some low speed laps around the HPR track. All donations will go to the University of Colorado Health Burn Center in memory of Jerry Schouten.
For this event we are using deferred billing. Your credit card will be charged on Tuesday, September 6, 2016.

Budget Host Longhorn Motel – Byers, CO - 303-822-5205. This is an older facility, but clean and closer to the track.
Hyatt Place Denver Airport is the Club Race Headquarters hotel and is approximately 45 minutes from the track. Rooms are $94.00 per night. Reservations can be made by calling 1-888-591-1234 and ask for the Porsche club rate.
You can also go to denverairport.place.hyatt.com. In the Reservation box, input the Arrival and Departure dates and then click the (+) sign next to “Special Rates.” Select the corporate/group code field and type G-PRCH then select the “check availability” button. In order for the reservation to work, the guest must book the correct dates (dates between 9/8/16 – 9/11/16).
Reservations can be made by calling the reservation center at 1-888-591-1234 and ask for Porsche Club rate.​

Event requirements
National PCA membership number and membership status will be verified as part of the registration process. If you do not include a valid PCA membership number (or forward a pending membership confirmation from PCA to the registrar), a $10 non-member fee will be assessed.
You must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license to participate in this event. Your driver's license will be checked at registration!
This event is open only to experienced drivers, you will need clearance from the RMR Driving Instructors for independent track driving to participate. You will be listed as ON HOLD until the CDIs confirm you for the event.
You will need to have a Snell-certified SA2005 or M2005 or newer helmet. Your helmet will be checked at Pre-Tech! It must have an RMR/PCA sticker on it. You will need to wear long pants(made of natural fibers) and an all cotton short or long sleeve shirt , and closed toe shoes while driving. For out of town drivers your helmet will be checked at Tech at the track or on the grid at top tech.
No convertibles or open cars without roll-over protection. No trucks or non-Porsche SUVs.
A tow hook needs to be installed on your front bumper before you grid your car.

If you do not pre-tech your car there will be a $50. charge for Tech at the Track!
***If you live out of state please email the registrar for a copy of the RMR Tech Inspection Form that will need to be filled out by a knowledgeable mechanic.
