Red Rocks Tour
Sunday, June 13, 2021
Please join us on June 13th for the Red Rocks Park tour and take in the amazing views from the park known for its very large red sandstone outcrops. Many of these rock formations within the park have names, from the mushroom-shaped Seat of Pluto to the inclined Cave of the Seven Ladders. The most visited rocks, around the park’s amphitheater, are Creation Rock to the north, Ship Rock to the south, and Stage Rock to the east.
Our route travels northwest from Colorado Springs along the west side of the Rampart Range to Deckers, then to Conifer and Evergreen before ending our tour winding along Bear Creek Road and reaching the park. Within the park boundaries is the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a world-famous venue used since 1941, which hosts many concerts and other events.
The tour will end with lunch at The Red Rocks Grill in Morrison, CO. with individual checks. Lunch will be limited to 70 people so please make sure you let us know if you choose not to join us for lunch.
We will depart at 9:00 AM from Porsche of Colorado Springs at 917 Motor City Drive in Colorado Springs. Plan to arrive at the dealership by 8:30 AM for breakfast snacks, registration and a mandatory driver’s meeting.
Registration fee is $10 per car.
