Event: Autocross (Pre registration only)
Now that registration is closed -

Location: Devens Airfield, in Ayer Ma. (Directions will be emailed later)
Timeline: The event runs from 7 AM until 5 or 6 PM. Driver checkin closes at 8 AM (Details about the day of the event will be sent after registration closes)
License required: A driver's license valid in the U.S. is required & checked at the event. (Except Jr. Kart drivers).
Guests must be 18 and must be able to show proof of age at the gate to enter the site. Under 18 guests require a properly filled out minor waiver filled out and signed by a parent. See minor-waiver-information (Contact the waiver chief with any questions)
Drivers under 18: A minor waiver signed by both parents & notarized or witnessed by an SCCA licensed registrar. See minor-waiver-information (Contact the waiver chief with any questions)
Helmet requirement: Snell M, SA 2000 or higher rated helmets containing one of these decals: 2015 Helmet Decals (Loaner helmets are available for novices)

2015 SCCA Solo Rules and car classes including CAM and Heritage classic. Car classes are found in Appendix A. This site contains reference information for car class by manufacturer, and a summary of category allowances to help determine your car's class.
Classes:
New to autocross? Register in NOVICE as the CLASS. Then pick the SCCA class from the second field called PAX.
- All SCCA official classes
- HC - Provisional "Heritage Classic"
- CAM - NER offers 1 combined CAM class. Our regional CAM also allows all Corvettes to compete in this class.
- Index classes: Novice and Pro (The class selection form has a "PAX" pull down to select the SCCA class for the car)
Vehicle Eligibility:
- No Shifter karts allowed at Devens events
- Jeeps, pickups, trucks, and SUV's are not allowed. If your vehicle is not listed in the SCCA rulebook, do not register. Instead, call our tech chief, Josh Parker at 603-674-0451 & ask if your vehicle may participate.

Link: NER Preferred numbers Before registering, check member reserved #'s here. Do not register using a class # found in this list. If you run the season with us, register/update your class and # so it will have preference in 2015.
Event requirements
Pre-registration is required. Sorry, no walk in or late registrations.
To register, you need our club in your motorsportreg account. Go to the "My account" tab, select "Edit clubs", select "Add clubs to my account", choose "SCCA New England Region - Solo". (Members should add or update their membership number and expiration date here).
2015 Cost:
- SCCA members: $40
- Junior Kart - SCCA members: $20 (Non member Jr driver $35 and must contact soloreg@ner.org to be added.)
- Non SCCA Members: $55
- Off line payment - Contact soloreg@ner.org
Refund policy: No refunds. Instead, a credit for a future event will be given if you need to cancel and we receive notice before the start of the event.
Region Number rules (to minimize problems for grid & timing/scoring regarding co-driven cars):
- 1 driver: Use any # between 1 and 99
- 2 drivers: 1st driver uses any # between 1 and 99. The 2nd driver adds 100 (example 15 & 115 or 99 & 199).
Car Labels: Minimum 8" numbers and 4" letters:
- Label both sides of the car with # and class. Example: 65 CS for car # 65 in class C Street. (Regional CAM class label is CAM)
- Pro or Novice Index: Add the letter P or N before the SCCA class. Example: 22 NCS for car # 22 in class Novice C Street.
Sound Limit: The sound limit at Devens is 90db measured at 75 feet. Cars exceeding this limit will be required to make a change during the event to decrease sound before being allowed to run again.
