Cup Races and our Time Attack Series....
Come join us for an exciting weekend of Cup Racing and Time Attack at the historic Laguna Seca road course. Spots are limited so register early. This event is a 92db maximum sound limit that will be strictly enforced.This event always sells out so register early....
On Saturday, Cup Racers will have a practice session, qualifying session and 2 cup races. On Sunday, there will be 1 practice session, 1 qualifying session and 1 cup race. There is a $50.00 fee for registered cup racers to use their qualifying time for a qualifying Time Attack fast lap.
Time Attack groups will each have 4 sessions both Saturday and Sunday for a total of 115 minutes per day. Non-Porsche cars are welcome. POC Certified Instructors will be available for Time Attack students. Time Attack student drivers must contact Dwain Dement, Chief Driving Instructor, at: (949) 633-9455 or (949) 770-2888 so that an Instructor can be assigned to work with you at no additional cost. You must call before July 30th. to ensure your instructor/student pairing.
Please note the EARLY BIRD PRICING OFFER for this event expires Friday July 22nd at midnight. Event cancellations must be received by Friday July 29th. at midnight for a refund. Registration at the track will be $100 higher than online pricing!...
Check-in and registration: Paddock entrance will be available for load in at 5:00 pm Friday, July 29.
Saturday Morning Check-In: Check-in will be available Saturday and Sunday morning in the registration trailer at 7:00 AM and 730 AM Sunday. Track entry gates will stay open until 10 PM for trailer parking access.
Garages: There are a limited number of garages available to rent at $200. for Friday and Saturday nights. They will be held on a first come, first served basis.
Laguna charges a $10.00 entrance fee at the gate. This one-time fee is good for the entire weekend.
Vehicle tech inspection should be done at an official POC Tech Inspection Station before you get to the track to avoid check-in delays and last minute repairs. All non-Porsche cars participating in PDS must be Tech inspected at the track. Tech inspection at the track will be provided by PRO Motorsports and Vali Motorsports starting at 7:00 AM. The cost is $20, payable to POC.
Tire service: PLEASE support Track Fast Motorsport who sells Yokohama, Hoosier, Toyo, Nitto and Goodyear tires. Since they're Arizona based they don't charge sales tax and will deliver your tires to the track for free. Contact Bryan Shackelford at (480) 833-6554 trackfastmotorsport@yahoo.com
Fuel: Leaded and unleaded race fuel will be available at the track both days. Purchases can only be made by using a credit card.
Camping: Overnight (dry camping) may be available in the paddock area on Friday and Saturday nights. The cost will be $100.00 and we'll need a commitment from 20 campers/motorhomes to make this work. This is a direct charge from Mazda Raceway. For information about the Laguna Seca campgrounds please call 888 588-2267.
Lodging: There are two host hotels for this event. Staying at a POC host hotel will save the club money! Our host hotels are:

Friday: Main gate will open on Friday at 5:30 pm for paddock entry and set up.
Saturday: Mandatory drivers meeting at 8 am sharp in front of the classroom. The track goes hot at 9 am.
Sunday: The track goes hot at 9 am.
