About this event

Porsche Club of America -- San Diego Region welcomes you to our Autocross on Sunday February 9, 2014 at the West Lot of Qualcomm Stadium! Come on down and enjoy the fun!

Online Registration Closes - midnight February 5 to receive the normal rate of $50 for PCA members, non-members of PCA are $60.  (If you miss the deadline, you can register at the trailer the morning of the event for $70 for PCA members driving Porsches, $80 for non-members driving Porsches). No-X Car registration at the track.

To register we require that you join our group here on MotorsportReg.com.  Please join the SDR group on this website.  This will be done as a step in the registration process. This does not make you a member of PCASDR. To join PCASDR and get the member rate go to www.pca.org You must own a Porsche to be a member.

There is a limit of 25 Non-Member X-Cars per PCASDR Autocross. Members have priority in registration. There is no X-Car Registration at the track. All X-Car Registrants must have verifiable track experience on MotorsportReg, or must email cdi@pcasdr.org for clearance.

There will be no X-Car Student participants except for registered PCA members, or their Junior Participant Family Members. However, X-Car Students that have already completed a PCASDR Autocross instructional event will be grandfathered to allow completion of the required instruction to attain driver status.

Junior Participant Program (JPP) 16 and 17 year old Children of PCA Members who are fully licensed, and driving a Porsche, may participate in our Autocrosses. Additional Rules apply. Please see further details under Cancellation Policy.

Payment: -You must use a credit card to pay if registering online (VISA or Mastercard only).  Your card is charged AFTER the event, so if you don't attend, you won't be charged.  

Please note: Your Motorsportsreg account can now be used to register multiple participants.  Look for  "+ add more attendees"  after you have signed up.  However, all participants registered under your account will be charged to your credit card.  If you do not want to pay for someone else then they need to create their own account on MSreg.com.

Event requirements

All entrants must present a completed Tech Inspection form to the tech inspectors. Please print one out now and include your car class* at:  http://pcasdr.net/pcasdr/forms/AXRegForm.pdf. Tech opens at 6:30.  Immediately after tech inspection, turn in your completed form at the table at the front of the tech line to receive your run group sticker, wristband and Driver's Number**  PLEASE BE ON TIME!  IF YOU ARRIVE AT TECH INSPECTION AFTER  7:30 am, YOU MUST PAY A LATE FEE OF $10. TECH INSPECTION WILL CLOSE AT 8:00 am. INSPECTIONS AFTER THE DRIVERS MEETING AT 8:00am ARE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TECH CHAIR, AND REQUIRE PAYMENT OF THE LATE FEE. 

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW YOUR PCA MEMBERSHIP CARD AT TECH OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE NON-MEMBER RATE FOR THIS EVENT.

You will NOT need to go to the trailer unless something changes in your registration data.  In that case, please check in at the registration trailer the morning of the event.

Helmets must be worn.  Limited numbers of helmets are available for rent for $10 at the trailer.

All novice Porsche Drivers will be assigned an Instructor for a limted number of events.

Experienced drivers new to PCASDR events may also be required to have an instructor until their competency has been demonstrated.

**Driver /Car Numbers are automatically assigned when you register and will be listed on your tech sticker. You will receive this after you turn in your tech form at the tech table. This number is yours if you continue to drive PCASDR Autocrosses. This number is not automatically yours to use at our Time Trials, Driver Education Events or other PCA Regions' events. You must check with them to see if it is available.

All entrants and guests are required to sign  the PCA waiver upon entering the stadium lot.

Please note: Qualcom has a 93 decible maximum which is enforced at the event by a portable sound meter.
