Supplementary Regulations
Sanction Numbers 09-R-695-S & 09-R-696-S
This event is conducted under the 2009 SCCA General Competition Rules and by these Supplementary Regulations.
 
This event is a Great Lakes Division Regional Championship Series event. 
Series rules and rules for series classes are available on the GLDiv Web site at www.greatlakes-scca.org.

ENTRIES: (AN ENTRY IS ONLY CONSIDERED AN ENTRY WHEN PAID!)  We are not using Reserved Numbers!

 1.      $255.00 either day, $330 both days-one car, one driver, $340.00 both days-one car, two drivers.  (Each driver must complete an entry form, with both submitted in the same envelope.) SRF,SM, FE Entry Fee: add $10.00 per race. ($20.00 for BOTH days.) An entry is not considered official unless accompanied by full payment of the entry fee.  ($10 DISCOUNT for cash or check mail-in entries)
 
2.   Late Entry:  Add $45.00 to the total amount if postmarked after August 21, 2009.
 
3.   Checks returned for any reason will incur a $35.00 service fee.
 
4.   Cancellations will be accepted by mail or phone until 6:00 PM, September 2, 2009. Phoned cancellations must be followed up in writing to receive a refund.  A $30 fee will be collected for cancellations.
 
5.  No refunds for "no shows" or due to weather.
 
6.   Registrar is not responsible for any entry sent by a delivery service that requires a daytime signature or special pickup.
 
7.   Crew:  Entry fee includes one (1) driver and three (3) crew members.  Additional crew passes may be purchased for $10.00 each.
 
8.   Only the entrant, driver, or designee (authorized in writing) may change the crew list. 
 
9.   Confirmation postcard or email will be sent only if you don’t get your first choice of number.  Correct number must be on car prior to tech.
 
10. License confirmation:  Competitors whose licenses are pending must call the registrar by 8/28/09 so the license can be confirmed.
 
GENERAL:
 
1.  Drivers must present at registration the ID required by the GCR.  The races are open to drivers who hold one of the following licenses: SCCA National, Regional, Novice Permit,NASA,Midwest Council,Waterford,CASC National,SVRA. 16 & 17 YEAR OLD DRIVERS MUST contact Jim Antal (Mid-Ohio) at jantal@midohio.com or 419.884.4501 for copies of Mid-Ohio's Minor Waiver (this is in addition to the SCCA Minor Waiver). These should be obtained well in advance & require a Notary Public's signature.  The completed waivers and information must be e-mailed to the address above.
 
2.  Paddock speed limit is 10 MPH.  Anyone operating ANY motorized vehicle on the track property must have a valid driver’s license (any state) and present it to any official upon request. Bicycles, in-line skates, razors, scooters, skateboards, and motorized skateboards are banned.  Unlicensed motor scooters, motorcycles, ATV's, etc. cannot leave the Paddock except to go to the Grid or Showers.  Golf carts do not need a license.
 
3.  Correct number must be on car prior to tech.  Cars with incorrect numbers will be black flagged.
 
4.  Minimum age in the pits is 18 years.  Shirts, long pants, and closed shoes are required in the pits.  Credentials must be clearly visable at all times.
 
5.  Trophy Distribution: 1-2 cars = 1; 3 cars = 2; 4-6 cars = 3; 7-12 cars =4, 13-19 cars = 5, 20+ cars = 6.
 
6.   Race Groups (43 classes).  The track length is 2.4 miles; per GCR 3.4.2.A, maximum of 60 cars per group. (59 cars on Sunday on the Pro Course).
 
7.   No unmuffled engines may be operated between 7 PM and 7 AM unless traveling to or from Tech on Friday evening.
 
8.   No radios will be permitted which interfere with track communications, 151.625, 151.805, and 154.600.
 
9.   The Black Flag reporting area is in the area of the base of the start/finish stand on pit lane.
 
10. Fuel spillage on any paved area of the facility is forbidden and may result in a black flag and liability for repairs if instructions from any officials are not obeyed promptly.  All jackstand bases must be supported to prevent pavement indentation.
 
11.  These classes have specific rules, published in the Great Lakes Regional Champ Series Rules: SP,SPU, ITE, CFC, CFF, IT7.
 
12.   MINOR WAIVERS: Single event waivers may be signed by one parent/legal guardian.  Signatures must be witnessed by a notary (only on form MS2A), a licensed SCCA Registrar, or a Steward.  Persons other than a parent/legal guardian may NOT sign Minor Waivers.  ANNUAL MINOR WAIVERS (Green Photo ID) must be signed by two parents/legal guardians and will cost $5.
 
13.   The 2.4 mi. Club course will be run on Saturday, and the 2.38 mi. Pro course will be run on Sunday.
 
14.    There will be no waived Tech at this event.  If you have an Annual Tech and a current (2009) SCCA helmet sticker (orange), you need only bring your logbook & Tech sheet to Tech.
 
15.    The first 3 finishers in class will report to impound immediately following their race.
 
16.    Operational AMB TranX260 transponders are mandatory for this race.
 
17.    The location of the test loop is the Tech Inspection area and it will be staffed the same hours as the Scales.
 
18.    Two cars, even though running in different race groups may not share the same transponder, however, the same car running with different drivers on different days may use the same transponder. 
 
19.    Sound control will be enforced for this event.  The sound meter is located at the beginning of the back straight on the left.  The sound limit is 103 db.
 
SPECIAL:
 
1.   GARAGE RENTAL: Garages are priced at $130 per garage (maximum of two cars per garage).  Contact Gloria Sheets, Registrar, 457 E. 2.   Camping will be permitted on Friday and Saturday nights only.  The camping area is limited to the paddock.
 
3.   The infield will be OPEN for spectating.  No trash is permitted; everything you carry in must be carried out. (GRANDSTANDS CLOSED)
 
4.   No pets are permitted on track property.  NO EXCEPTIONS..
 
5.   Sale of any products on Mid-Ohio property is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from Mid-Ohio and OVR SCCA INC. Contact Mary Weir @ 614.793.4613.
 
6.   Please use the provided receptacles for trash, oil, and other fluids.  Do not leave any tires at the track, except with tire vendors.
 
7.   You will be required to vacate the premises by 6:30 PM Sunday.  If later, you will be billed for cost of security.
