About this event
Come join us at TGPR as we host the first Open Car/Drifting Day where we open up the raceway for anyone looking to drive their car on a safe, open track! Bring your suped-up station wagon or your polished Porsche — these events are for all makes and models! Grab a friend, grab your helmet, and put the pedal to the metal without fear of a traffic citation.
We will have two 15-minute sessions for cars in groups of Novice and Intermediate/Advanced and one 30-minute session of drifting every hour!
-Pricing is only $185 per driver for a full Day on the track! This includes $5 gate fee.
-Trackside registrations -on event day- the price is an additional $25.00
-There is a $5.00 gate fee for all Spectators and Additional Drivers entering the facility.

IF WE DO NOT MEET THE MINIMUM OF 20 PRE-REGISTERED DRIVERS BY AUGUST 23, THIS EVENT WILL BE CANCELLED. REFUNDS/CREDITS WILL BE ISSUED.
No Electric Vehicles or Hybrids Allowed: Charging of Alternative Fuel Vehicles or Electric Vehicles is prohibited on TGPR property. TGPR prohibits the participation of Alternative Fuel Vehicles or Electric Vehicles in events at TGPR due to safety concerns.
Additional Driver(s)
If you have multiple drivers for the same car in the same skill group, only one driver needs to pay the full registration fee. The other driver’s sign-up as additional drivers at a reduced rate at TGPR’s gate day of Event.
If you will be in different skill groups, then you each need to pay the full registration fee as you will be filling a spot in those groups.
Groups
Novice- No experience or has previously been on a road course with an instructor but not solo. This driver is unfamiliar with flags and trackday procedures such as the "point by" and needs several sessions to get up to speed.
Intermediate/Advanced- This driver has recently been approved to drive solo on other tracks or has participated in at least 2 of our events as a Novice. They are familiar with trackday procedures and flags and can point another drive by before they get stuck behind them. This driver will take a session to get up to speed.
Drifting- Drifters in this group will be released one at a time on a closed course section of the track. Driver experience can vary from beginner to advanced, but the next participant will not be released until the course is clear. If you spin or breakdown you will hold up the rest of the line!

Clothing:
A. Clothing must be worn. It is recommended that clothing be made of natural fibers. Long pants are recommended but optional.
B. Shoes covering the entire foot must be worn.
C. Helmets must be DOT approved and no more that 5 years old.
Cancellations & Credit
--Refunds (less an administration fee of 15%) are only given if a written request is received 14 or more days prior to the start of an event.
--Credit will be issued for cancellations if a written request is received 7 or more days prior to the event.
--Credit cannot be applied to completed order
--Credit cannot be transferred to another driver
--Credit expires 6 months after the date of issuance unless otherwise noted
--No cancellations are accepted 7 days or less prior to an event. (No credit or refunds issued).
Event requirements
Entry to the track is at 7:00 am and the track goes hot at 9:00 am for the first session. The final session for the day will conclude at 5:00 pm. Groups will be split into Novice drivers, Intermediate/Advanced drivers, and Drifters. Seat belts and helmets must be worn while on hot pit and track. Passengers and drivers must be 16 years of age or older and provide picture I.D. to participate. Minors under 18yrs must have a parent or guardian with them onsite at all times. No minor passengers allowed in the Drifter group.

Damage/Clean-up
Damage to any portion of the facility or grounds (structures/track surface/paddock/grass) by any participant or guest will be billed directly to the person(s) responsible at the time of occurrence. Payment for damages will be collected immediately.
