Join us for our “One Last Pass Tour” because it won’t be long before WSDOT will close Highway 20 (Cascades Highway) for the winter. Let’s just hope that doesn’t happen before this tour! This tour replaces the previously planned San Juan’s Friday Harbor Tour due to the fact that where we wanted to stay had a two night minimum and that didn’t lend itself to a block reservation. We haven’t done the North Cascades tour in a couple years so this should be gorgeous with the fall colors and crisp air! Time and weather permitting, we’ll stop at Washington Pass and take the short hike out to the observation area for some stunning views down into the Methow Valley below. Dinner will be at Carlos 1800 Mexican Grill and Cantina in an area reserved for our group. Sunday is a day on your own to either head back early by reverse route on Hwy 20 or continue the Cascades Loop down to Hwy 2 and back through Steven’s Pass or stop in Leavenworth, then backtrack a few miles and take Hwy 97 south over Blewett Pass and I-90 home.
We have a block of 15 rooms reserved at the Abby Creek Inn in Winthrop for the night of Saturday, Oct 12th. The reduced rate is $94.99, but the block EXPIRES on Sep 12th (sorry for the short notice). Also, THESE ARE NON-REFUNDABLE RESERVATIONS except for things like a medical emergency so if you make a reservation in the room block, make sure you plan to go on the tour! Rooms are either a single king bed or two queen beds for the same rate. Once the block expires, rooms will be "as available" only, Call the Abby Creek Inn at (509) 996-3100 to reserve a room. A Continental breakfast is included in the rate. They also run a shuttle service into the center of town (about a mile), but you can also make it a nice walk.
Event requirements
Tour Requirements:
- Cancelations: Cancelations must be made before Oct 10th.. For individual room cancellations a 48 hour notice is required. For the room block of rooms, it is 30 day notice.
- Car club membership: To participate you must be a member of the PCA and should also be a member of PNWR. Porsche owners who are not members may register and receive a special invitation on a case-by-case basis.
- Non-Porsches on the Tour: Non-Porsches are not allowed on this tour due to the fact that we are back into our regular tour season.

For Adult participants and attendees: The waiver of liability release form must be signed at the tour start point prior to departing on the tour. Minors have a separate waiver form (Minors as Observers Only) that must be signed by a parent or guardian who is present at the tour start point or have the minor waiver notarized and brought to the start point.
- Age and driver's license restrictions: All drivers must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a valid US driver's license at the time of the Tour. A driving permit is not acceptable.
- Registering for Passengers: Please make sure to include the names of any passengers riding with you in the space provided during registration. If you have two cars on the tour each car and driver should register with a separate MotorsportReg account.
