OLYMPIC HOOD CANAL TOUR, Saturday, September 24, 2016
Come join with Audi Club Northwest as we tour some favorite roads around the Hood Canal. This day trip will take you through some fun roads with great scenery. The event will be relaxing and a fun driving day in a social environment, filled with many opportunities to photograph some breathtaking views. As with all ACNW tours, this is not a speed event, emphasis is on "tour". Let's make a loop and see both sides of the Canal, along with some really great overlooks.
Beginning at the Purdy Park & Ride at 8:30 am. Address: 6519 144th St NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98332 We will head out at 9:00 am for a ~190 mile drive heading towards South Shore, up the west side of the canal and stop at Dosewallips Park.
Continuing east on SR104, crossing the Hood Canal Bridge we will be arriving at Salisbury Point County Park just west of Port Gamble for some BBQ hamburgers. Extra lunches are $10. Your primary driver fee is a donation to Seattle Children’s Hospital and includes lunch.
After lunch we will head south via two-lanes along the east side of the Canal, ending up in Belfair, and finish up with a return to Purdy.
Drivers may depart the tour anywhere along the route. Please notify Bernie Strub, the event leader, if you choose to leave the tour early. You do NOT have to own an Audi vehicle to attend this event. Please arrive with a full tank of gas. There is a Chevron across the street from the Purdy Park & Ride.

Event requirements
Everyone must sign the Waiver when participating in the tour. This requirement includes drivers and guests; it makes you part of the club's insurance coverage. Parents must also sign a Teen Waiver on behalf of teens. No exceptions.
