Old Sacramento Undergound Walking Tour Saturday April 12th!
Have you ever been underneath the sidewalks and streets of Old Sac? Now is your chance. Join us as we take a walking tour underneath Old Sacramento. Our tour guide will take us beneath the city recounting tales of devastation, perseverance and determination that led to California's only successful street-raising project. The tour is about an hour long on uneven surfaces and low ceilings. The total walking distance is 1/2 mile at a steady pace.
The tour will start at the Sacramento History Museum at 101 I St, Sacramento at 12pm. Plan on meeting the group at 11:45 for check in as the tour will leave at 12pm.
This price is $17 per person limited to 20 guests.
We need a miniumum of 20 people to get the group rate. Your credit card won't be charged until March 25th when we confirm the number attending.
Event requirements
Registration is open to Mercedes Benz Club of America members/spouses-partners/guests only.
Comfortable closed-toe shoes are recommended as the tour visits uneven surfaces.
This is wheelchair accessible however, it is recommended that wheelchair users be aware that the tour visits areas with uneven surfaces.
No photography is allowed during the underground portion of the tour.
Your payment info will be verified upon registration. Payments will be processed after close of registration on March 25, 2014.
