Novice School /Event #4 2018 Zohr Tires Solo

 

Novice Solo School  / Event #4 of the 2018 Zohr Tire KCRSCCA Solo Championship Series. 
EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE at the MCC Precision Driving Center located just past the Great Plains ASPCA on E. Highway 78 in Independence Missouri. 

SCHOOL: SATURDAY Solo school is capped at 30 participants and you must pre register AND pre pay. There will be no refunds given for school cancellations. So do not sign up if you are not 100% sure you're attending. This school is ideally for Novice driver's but is open to people looking to improve as well. School fee is $40 for members. If you are not a current SCCA member, you will also need to pay the $10 weekend membership fee. INSTRUCTORS: If you are an experienced driver and want to be an instructor, please let us know. Thanks! 

SOLO: SUNDAY - Onsite registration/check in opens at 8:00 am sharp. Please arrive on site no later than 8am to get registered/checked in so that you have plenty of time to tech your car, do a course walk, etc. Mandatory driver's meeting around 9:15, at which time registration is CLOSED.  First car off around 9:30. 

**If you have 13+ events, Annual tech and pre register AND pre pay online, you are eligible for the "Late Start Incentive". You can arrive at noon, check in at the trailer , drive heat 3 or 4 and work the opposite. BUT you must meet all requirements. 

**You will notice you only choose drive heat and what you can work. I will assign your work heat because we run into way too many times that everyone only wants to work a certain heat and no one wants to work others.... obviously, that will not work. I am planning to run this as a morning and afternoon session situation. If you drive 1, you work 2 & vice versa. If you drive 3, you work 4 & vice versa. Heat 0 people will be chosen based on availability to work heat 0 and knowledge of heat 0 work detail. You can request specific work heats, BUT.... there is NO GUARANTEE that I can entertain that as we have to have all sessions and positions covered to have a race.  

The entry fee for the solo events is $40 if you pay on-line or if paid at the event and are pre-registered (This includes Test & Tunes and Novice Schools). Online registration and payment is highly suggested to shorten your line wait time the morning of the event. There will be a $5 walk up fee for those that choose to do a walk up registration the morning of the event. This fee is incurred due to extra time required to manually enter all paperwork the morning of the event. 

There is a $10 Weekend Membership Fee that is required if you are not an SCCA member in good standing. If you do not plan to register online, please plan to arrive early as there will be additional paperwork to fill out to secure the weekend membership.
