The 2016 Cape Fear Autocross Season is upon us. This year we are trying something new and doing a season number event to help people reserve numbers for the year. This should allow you to see the numbers reserved and the number available. we will try to keep this list up to date as possible.
Event requirements
Classing: Car Classing is up to the driver. To help with this a copy of the SCCA Solo (Autocross) Rule Book can be found here.
We run large Pax classes instead of individual classes. This means we group classes as outlined below. You are welcome to show your full class and number but you have to at least show the abbreviation and your number. On the next screen, your class will be the class name below (ie. Street) and your the number you want to reserve in that group. So if you want to run in DS this year, you will need to reserve your number in the Street Class.
Street - Abbreviation: S - Classes Grouped into Street - SS, AS, BS, CS, DS, ES, FS, GS, HS
Street Touring - Abbreviation: ST - Classes Grouped into Street Touring - STF, STR , STS, STU, STX
Street Prepared - Abbreviation: SP - Classes Grouped into Street Touring - SSP, ASP, BSP, CSP, DSP, ESP, FSP, SSR
Street Modified - Abbreviation: SMP - Classes Grouped into Street Modified - SMF, SSM, SM, CAM-C, CAM-T, CAM-S, STP
Modified/Prepared - Abbreviation: MP - Classes Grouped into Modified/Prepared - AM, BM, CM, DM, EM, FM, XP, CP, DP, EP, FP
Novice - Abbreviation: N
Raw Time - Abbreviation: RT
Pro - Abbreviation: P
Ladies - Abbreviation: L
Jr. Karts - Abbreviation: JK
Karts - Abbreviation: K
Class and number must be displayed on both sides of the car and legible at a distance. We do not supply numbers for drivers. If you use painters tape be sure it is a contrasting color to your car. If you switch classes just come back and change your registration. This will reserve the new number in the new class but will leave the old number reserved as well. If you decide you want to release the old number just email Justin below or use the contact host button on the upper right and tell him which class and number you want to open back up to the number pool.
