NCC FALL TOUR 2010
Battlefields and BMWs
November 6-7, 2010
This year’s Fall Tour is to the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pa November 6-7, 2010. This year’s tour will include drives through or visits to three of the most historic Civil War battlefields: Manassas (or Bull Run to the Yankees), Antietam, and Gettysburg. Lunch will be at The Bavarian Inn in Shepardstown, WV and our reception, dinner, and overnight will be at The Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA. The Tour itself will cost $80/member and $105/non-member. This cost will include lunch, admission to the Antietam and Gettysburg Museums, reception, and dinner. As an added bonus, we’ll be finishing the tour in Gettysburg and the easiest route back to Washington area takes us right past Catoctin Mountain Orchard. Bring a cooler and stock up on pies!!!!
The starting location is Oakton, VA just off I-66 at VA-123. Check-in time is 8:30 a.m. and the Tour starts at 9 a.m. Coffee, food, and fuel are all available nearby. Directions to the start, route instructions, and additional information will be sent to all registrants the week of the Tour. Hotel Rooms
The Hershey Lodge has a block of rooms for us at the rate of $149 (+ tax). You may call now for reservations at 1-800-533-3131. Be sure to mention BMW Car Club Event at The Hershey Lodge. If they ask for a group code number, use "148647." Rooms should be reserved as soon as possible in order to guarantee the rate and availability.
UPDATE: Please note that the entire Hershey Lodge is now sold out for the weekend. There is a Days Inn and a Best Western very close by that have availability. You can still register for and attend the Tour, reception, dinner etc. and will still use Motorsportreg.com to register for the event.
Food
We will have lunch during the drive as well as the banquet dinner on Saturday evening. For this, members and associate members will enjoy a special price of $80/person for the tour. The price for non-members is $105/person. If you are not a member, the discount for this event nearly covers a year’s membership. See www.bmwcca.org to join the club.

Hawaiian Chicken Salad - in pineapple boat w/ fresh fruit
Crab Melt Sandwich - crab on rye with melted cheddar
Schweinbraten - pork loin, sauerkraut, and potato dumplings

Apple strudel
German chocolate cake
Dinner (reception, salad, dessert buffet of Hershey treats, ice tea, and coffee included; cash bar for drinks)

Seared Rib Eye Steak w/ ancho chili chocolate demi glace
Hershey’s cocoa chili crusted chicken breast w/ citrus avocado salsa

Hershey Lodge activities
The Hershey Lodge offers a range of activities from the Spa to golf (the old West course is fantastic) to falconry and more. Arrangements for all activities are on your own. Event requirements
When registering, you will need to identify which attendees are BMWCCA Members, Associates, or are non-members. Fees will be calculated accordingly.
If you pay via Motorsportreg and cancel based on the below policy, your refund will be the event amount less the 5% Motorsportreg fee.
