Mike was a driver in life and driving his beautiful black BMW M2 CS up the Sea to Sky with his friends and other BMW enthusiasts was one of his favorite weekend activities. Please join us – his friends and family – in taking Mike for one last ride.

We aim to start from West Vancouver and drive to The Crabapple Café in Squamish for coffee and breakfast. The BMW club will then make a run up the Squamish Valley Road and regroup at the Cafe. For those who would like to participate in scattering Mike’s ashes we will drive to Alice Lake and hike to a quiet location where we used to take a break during our hikes.

Carpool options will be available … we can organize at the start.

Start: St. Davids United Church, 1525 Taylor Way, West Vancouver, BC V7S 1N5
Rendezvous-1: The Crabapple Café, 41701 Government Rd, Brackendale, BC V0N 1H0
Rendezvous-2: Alice Lake Provincial Park (day parking lot)

Itinerary: We will leave at 7 am sharp! No problem if you missed us at the church or are a slow driver, just meet us at the Crabapple Cafe!

6:45 am - Meet at St. David’s United Church (1525 Taylor Wy, West Vancouver)
Note: If you plan to leave your car and carpool please park on the street along Westcot Road next to the church (Please do not park in the Church’s parking lot)

7:00 am - Depart to Squamish
Note: Google shows it as a 51 min drive … assume club drivers will be faster!

8:00 - 8:15 am - Arrive at The Crabapple Café (41701 Government Rd, Brackendale)
This was one of Mike’s favorite stops … but they don’t take reservations so we aim to show up as soon as they open at 8 am.

~9:30 am  - Drive down Squamish Valley Road

~10:30 - 11:00 am - Arrive at Alice Lake (please let us know if you plan to attend).

~11:15 pm - Start hike at Alice Lake

~2:00 - 3:00 pm - Depart Alice Lake
