The Road Course at Darlington is ready to host the final SCDE scheduled for the venue in 2020.
We have our next event the "Darlington Dash" open for registration.
This will be held using our timing system and like every SCDE in the future, it will have a competition element. Rules for the competitions can be found on the M4theM.com website (in the very near future).
At the Sept 12th Day of Discovery we found our timing system was sufficient to capture a representative sample of times worthy of a competitions. We also got to test our "precision driving" competition procedure and while we are still needing to automate the results some, it seems to be a solid formula. So, from now on, SCDE will be competitive. 90% of the competition will be about precision but we will give a nod of recognition to the faster cars as well. Full precision procedure rules will be posted later but any car can compete as it is about precision, not absolute fastest lap.

Our SCDE events are broken up into 2 sessions; Morning from 7AM to 12PM and Afternoon from 12PM to 5PM.
Registration and Tech will be open at 7AM and again at 12pm for the afternoon session. Drivers meeting will be at 7:45 and 12:45 respectively.
Either session will provide you with up to 40 minutes of run time. *
The all-day pass avails you up to to 1 hour and 20 minutes of run time. *
Sign up early and save some $$$!
Choose an AM or PM session with the Early Bird special for only $85 until Friday the 25th.
After the 25th, the price rises to $95.

Our host hotel is Howard Johnson Florence. After staying with them at our last couple of events they liked us and dropped our rate to $55 per night.
Do not book online or you will not get the $55.00 rate.

If you do not speak to Aida, you must tell the front desk you are with Motorsport 4the Masses. If you go through central National reservations (option3) or Expedia, Travelocity etc. you will not get our rate.
* Track time may be affected by event schedule, mechanical issues on track or weather. Track time is not guaranteed but we will do all we can to make sure everybody gets the amount they pay for.
Event requirements
Drivers must download and fill out the Tech Sheet and bring to the event. Drivers should read the M4theM SCDE 2020 1.51 Rules. In addition, you should download and fill out all waivers in advance. Doing so will result in a reward for all drivers that bring the pre-filled out to the event. Tech Sheets and waivers can be found in the red boxes found HERE (right click and open in new tab)
Drivers must have a valid drivers license.
Drivers must have a helmet in good repair that fits their head properly. DOT motorcycle approved at minimum. SNELL M or SA helmets are preferred. There are no date limits on SNELL helmets but the helmet must be in good repair. Please contact the event organizer if you do not have such an appropriate helmet.
Riders are allowed with solo competitors but must have signed the waiver, be previously in close contact with the driver during the Covid crisis (co-worker/family member etc.), and must be able to be properly restrained in the vehicle and wear a helmet.
Drivers must bring a completed Tech Form to the tech tent.
No loose or torn clothing.
No open toe or high heeled shoes.
