LOTUS CUP USA - OFFICIAL RACING CLINIC

New for 2013, Lotus Cup USA will produce an annual pre-season Racing Clinic at Buttonwillow Raceway on March 8th, 2013 for Lotus owners/racers. This program is designed for drivers of all skill levels to get ready for the upcoming race season. This one-day course provides personalized coaching from professional racecar drivers to take you through intense exercises, classroom sessions, and on-track analysis to make you a better driver on and off the track. Every exercise is geared towards driving/racing a Lotus and the rules/regulations of the Lotus Cup USA series. Completion of this program provides a Lotus Cup USA Competition License PLUS we will award 5 championship points for attending.

Highlights:

The day starts with a classroom session on Passing and Drafting before dedicated passing excercises to practice the art of passing. Drivers will get the opportunity to learn how to execute a clean pass, what to do when being passed, and how to setup a pass. In the afternoon, a classroom session on Starts - both double-file and single-file - will get you ready for your first Lotus Cup race or give you additional practice to maximize your race starts. After, we will finish out the day with practice races where you will encounter a variety of race experiences so you’re ready for anything!
