Gals, ready to have some fun with your car? This event is for you! NWR Sports Car Club of America, Bremerton Sports Car Club, Torque Steerers, and Pacific NW Region Porsche Club of America are hosting a Women's Practice. This event will provide women with an opportunity to get started in autocross in a low pressure environment, and build additional confidence and skills behind the wheel. Experienced female autoxers are also welcome to attend to get some additional seat time. Female instructors will be available to help you navigate the course and build your car handling skills. Guys, help us spread the word, invite all the great gals in your life to come out and have fun with cars!
Gals, you will not have to work the course! The guys supporting this event will be out chasing cones and doing other work assignments for you so you can have as much seat time as possible! Loaner helmets will be available.
As an added bonus, novice level entrants (0-2yrs of autox experience) will receive 4, $15 event entry coupons for the 2018 season (non-transferable) for 1-NWR SCCA Solo, 1-BSCC event, 1-Torque Steerers event, and 1-PNWR-PCA.
The Lion's Club will be there selling food to drivers! Volunteers will get their lunch for free as a "thank you" for their support.
REGISTRATION:
Entry Fee: $65 (online pre-registered), $75 (onsite non-pre-registered).
Event Schedule:
-Registration: 8:00am – 8:45am
-Tech inspection: 8:05am – 8:50am
-Guided Course Walk: 9:00am
-Drivers Meeting: 9:30am
-First car out: ~9:45am - Run for 2hrs – guys/volunteers will be split into 1hr work shifts
LUNCH BREAK ~1hr: Volunteers will be allowed at this time
-Run up to more 2hrs
-Volunteers can run for 1 hr at the end of the day
Event requirements
- Please consult the BSCC website for car set up tech requirements
- All helmets must be rated Snell 2005 or newer rated. Loaner helmets will be available free of charge.
- You must have valid driver license to attend this school
- Drivers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who will be asked to sign a waiver the morning of the event. Those under 18 will not be permitted to be on site if their parent is not present to sign.
