At the suggestion of the track we are going the try running in the evening to try to mitigate some of the dust problems we had in June. They believe that if we run late in the afternoon into the evening the sun won't be as strong and evaporate the water we put on the course. They've been running racing on Sunday evenings for years and it seems to work for them.
They have lights for the big oval and the pit area, and some portable generator light towers we can put near the small oval. Sunset is about 8:50 that time of year so we won`t likely be running much in full darkness. We`ll avoid running in a westerly direction as much as possible so you don`t have to drive into the setting sun.
We`re not allowing rally lights on cars since that could blind other drivers on the course
