Highway of Legends Tour

Please join us on May 19th for the Highway of Legends tour and marvel at the breathtaking views of the Sangre de Cristo's, Wet Mountains, and Spanish Peaks. We will depart at 8:15 AM from Porsche of Colorado Springs at 917 Motor City Drive in Colorado Springs. Plan to arrive at the dealership by 7:30 AM for breakfast snacks, registration and a mandatory driver’s meeting.

Our route travels south from Colorado Springs through the Wet Mountain Valley and then from La Veta on the Highway of Legends through the mountains to Trinidad, a town with Victorian architecture that preserves a civilized slice of southern Colorado’s rough-and-tumble past. Along the Highway of Legends, you can view unusual volcanic formations radiating outward from the Spanish Peaks and remnants of previous mining. The Highway of Legends rises to Cuchara Pass on the shoulder of the Spanish Peaks. The Tarahumare Indians held these summits as sacred and believed that all life on earth originated from the area.

Lunch will be at an undetermined location with individual checks.
