About this event
Saturday June 13th, 11am - 2pm
Join a drive out to the beautiful animal sanctuary nestled deep in the heart of the Cowichan Valley.
Once we arrive at 11, we will have a private tour of A Home for Hooves which is a very special place. It is a volunteer run, registered Charity that offers a forever home for rescued farmed animals who are abandoned, seized or surrendered due to various circumstances.
A Home for Hooves is the first farm sanctuary in Canada to be accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries. Bring the children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren to this one to visit over 200 animals, including pigs, goats, sheep, bovines, mini-horses, donkeys, chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, pigeons, partridges, dogs, guinea pigs and cats. Ample parking for the Porsches on site.
After the tour we will enjoy High Tea outside, surrounded by the animals. You will be regenerated the minute you enter the property and your heart will be full when you leave. All proceeds after GST and MSR will be donated to the sanctuary.
