About this event
Join us on Wednesday, March 6 at noon, or a guided tour of the BC Aviation museum in North Saanich. We'll have a guided tour of their amazing collection, including their latest acquisition, an Avro Lancaster Bomber project originally constructed in Canada in 1944. If you've seen the movie 'Lancaster' on Netflix, you'll no doubt appreciate the role that plane played in turning the tides of WW2. The project is in early stages, but you'll get a sense of the complexity of re-assembling something that has over one million rivets!
Fee is $20 for the museum tour
We'll plan to start the tour at noon on March 6, a Wednesday. Sorry to those of you who can't get away on a weekday, but our guides are only available then.
I can reserve tables at the Spitfire grill for up to 20, for 11am that day. Indicate if you want to join us there (self-pay).
Address: 1910 Norseman Road, North Saanich
