Enjoy the weekend in Morro Bay.
Meet at the Parking Lot at Carrow's Restaurant, 2401 Harbor Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001 ( Exit at Seaward Ave off the 101 and turn left, cross the Freeway and left again on Harbor Blvd.) Check in by 8:00 and depart 9:00. Call me if you are going to be late 562-305-8002.
The route proceeds up scenic State Hwy 33. After crossing the San Andreas Fault, go through Maricopa and Taft. At McKittrick the route joins State Hwy 58 west then onto Hwy 229 to Creston. From there it is Hwy 41 into Morro Bay for a late lunch and check in at the Best Western San Marcos Inn.
Later we will gather for dinner at Dorn's Original Breakers Cafe then a quiet evening.
Sunday is at your leisure, and there is lots to see and do. Golf at the Morro Bay Golf Course will start my day then drive up the coast to explore Cambria or further up to Hearst Castle or Rugged Point to view the elephant seals. Please let me know if you wish to join me for golf.
