Green Mountain Region’s “40 Years of GMR Gimmick Rally”

On Saturday, June 6, join your fellow GMR members as we gather for a fun-filled morning of cars, coffee, bagels, donuts and a gimmick rally to celebrate the 40th anniversary of GMR!
The morning will begin at Apple Hill Farm in Rochester where members Peter Rogal & Laurie Nash are graciously hosting us for an outdoor "cars and coffee" event which will include a gimmick rally for those who wish to participate.
Around 10am we will open check-in for the Gimmick Rally and review the rally details and rules. Cars will then embark on the rally route in 3-5 minute increments. The course will begin and end at Apple Hill Farm and take participants over the Brandon and Middlebury Gaps. Driving time is expected to be roughly 75 minutes.
We will go over all details of the rally before the first car sets out on the course. All you need to participate is a driver, a passenger (navigator/tabulator), a pen or pencil, your scoresheet and your Porsche! If you’ve never done a rally of any kind, this is the one to start with!
Event requirements
All Porsche vehicles (Sports/SUVs/4 Door) are welcome but each vehicle must have at a minimum a driver and a navigator/passenger. The only limit to vehicle occupants is the number of seatbelts. Each occupant must have signed the requisite PCA Waiver form and the vehicle must be insured pursuant to Vermont law.
