About this event

Time to shake off the winter blues.  Been wrenching all winter and now it is time to reward yourself for all that work.  Kentucky Region SCCA is proudly hosting the first event of the Great Lakes Divisional Series for 2023.  We invite you all to Bowling Green, KY to shake off the winter rust at NCM Motorsports Park for our first two Points Events of the 2023 season.

The required Divisional SOLO Series stickers are provided by Gearhead Homes.

Early registration check in will be held at the track on Friday (4/28/23) evening.  Plans are being formulated to include some Friday karting fun at NCM's kart track.  Details to come!

STRICT NOISE ENFORCEMENT LOCATION:

We will be strictly enforcing sound limits for this site.  At 95db, you will be warned and asked to make a change to your car before you take your next run. If you make a change and register 98db or greater, your runs for the day will be registered as DSQ.  This sound limit is lower than the NCM track limit.

First car off will be at 10:00 am.   Karts must pre-register for this site.

7:30 - 9:00 pm: Registration/Check-in/Waiver

7:30 - 9:15 Technical Inspection

8:00 am (or earlier) - 9:30 am: Course open for walking

9:15 am  Novice Walk Through

9:45 am: Driver's meeting

10:00 am (or sooner) - First car off!

Pre-Pay Fees:   

  • Single day entries:
  • $50 for  SCCA  members.
  •  $65 non-members (weekend Membership).
  • Two day package:
  • $90 for SCCA members.
  • $105 for non-members (weekend Memberships).

Walk up registrations are on an as needed basis, please save yourself some time and pre-register/prepay.  We are also providing the option to pay onsite the day(s) of the event.  

  

Below is a link for new folks who are coming out for the first time. The best time to come out is no later that 8:00 am, so that you can register, get your car inspected and walk the course.  We also offer a novice walk through to assist people in navigating the course and an experienced driver can ride with you to help you out.

Event requirements

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and have a current Minor Waiver form completed.

Sound restrictions are in effect.  KYSCCA will be strictly enforcing sound restrictions. Vehicles that surpass 95 dB will be warned and asked to make a mechanical modification/repair to limit sound.  If a modification/repair is made and vehicle exceeds 98 dB, vehicle will be disqualified.  Sound readings are measured at 50 feet from course. 

All participants will need to check in to registration (trailer) when you arrive on site and/or after 8:00 a.m.
