FSR 60th Anniversary Party

Please join us as we celebrate the completion of 60 years of First Settlers Region at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 6PM.

Kickoff the new year hanging out with your FSR friends and enjoying a great dinner, conversation and live music.  We'll have some historical items from FSR's history on hand as well as a slide show review of the past 60 years.  Your Board of Directors and officers for 2020 will be introduced and we'll give you a rundown of the activities planned for the upcoming year.

We'll also be conducting our famous silent auction again, but we're going to change things up a bit.  We'll have some really nice stuff, but we're also encouraging members to donate their time and talent.  Are you a craftsperson with an item to auction? An artist with a skill to share? Own (or know someone with) a business with a donatable service? Have knowledge you’d like to impart to others? Willing to host a dinner? Event cost is $65 per person.

The attire for the event is Resort Casual.  What the heck is Resort Casual?  For the men, no ties required.  For the ladies, you always know what to wear... 

Why not make a weekend of it?  The resort is offering special room rates for our event:

Resort Guestroom: $129/night + tax
Riverview King Guestroom:  $149
Resort 1BR Suite:  $179
Riverview 1 BR Suite:  $199

Make room reservations directly with the Kingsmill reservation department at (757) 253-1703 or (800) 832-5665.  Rooms/reservations are first come/first served and the block will be held until 28 Dec.  In order to receive the preferred rate, you must identify yourself as a Porsche Club Reception event attendee.  Rates cannot be changed at check-in or check-out if you fail to identify your affiliation at the time the reservation is requested.  If you prefer a larger room such a 2 or 3 bedroom suite, just ask the reservations folks when you call. 

The Williamsburg Winter Blues Jazz Fest is occurring the same weekend again this year, so even more of a reason to make a weekend of it.  Info and tickets HERE.
