Hello FSR friends. Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, for Ed Merry’s 40th Fun Run. This one begins in Williamsburg and covers lightly traveled and twisty back roads along a route that will take us to Saluda, VA. Ed and his long-time copilot, Sam Fowler, are well known for putting together “smile-filled” Fun Runs.
We will gather at 10:00am in the parking at Sandy’s Pancake House, 6495 Richmond Road (US-60), Williamsburg, VA. 23188. Upon arrival, go to the registration area for check-in and group assignment. Be sure you and your passenger(s) sign the electronic Speed Waiver in advance of arrival. This will save time and paperwork. Special waivers for minors will be available on site. Following check-in and the Drivers’ Meeting, the first group will depart at approximately 11:00am.
After putting on some miles, and smiles, we will take a break at the Food Lion, 9030 Pocohontas Trail (US 60 at VA-155), Providence Forge, VA. Following a fun filled 100 plus mile drive, we will land at Nick’s Spaghetti and Steak House, 3483 East Lewis B. Puller Memorial Highway, Saluda, VA 23149, at approximately 1:30pm. We will order from the menu and pay our own tabs.
The registration deadline is September 28th. Please indicate if you will be joining us for just the drive, just the restaurant, or both, and the number of people who will be dining in your group. There is limited seating in our reserved restaurant area, so please register as soon as possible.
Both paper route instructions and Ride with GPS will be provided before the drive.
We hope you and your Porsche can join us for an enjoyable drive and lunch with friends. Remember, “It’s not just the cars, it’s the people.”
Event requirements
We will be using Speedwaiver to complete the PCA Insurance Waiver process. You'll receive the link on the confirmation page and in the confirmation email, so be looking out for that and please complete it right after you register. The same goes for your passenger(s).
All attendees must sign, so if you have guests on your registration, PLEASE FORWARD THE LINK TO THEM so that they can sign as well. The PCA Event Waiver must be signed in advance through the SpeedWaiver system.
